OSTEOCICATRATE GEL Osteoreparative, anti-inflammatory and rubefacient adjuvant COMPOSITION100 g of Osteocicatrat Gel contains: Symphytum officinale extract (comfrey) 25 g; Chelidonium majus extract (celandine) 25 g; Excipients (menthol; camphor; natrosol, nipagin, glycerin, propylene glycol, sodium hydroxide, deionized water) per 100 g PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION Milk thistle, through its basic component – allantoin, has healing, emollient, anti-irritant and keratolytic properties. Allantoin is a non-toxic agent, being successfully used in dermatological, cosmetic and veterinary products; it stimulates cell proliferation and the formation of new, healthy tissue; it has a pronounced keratolytic effect and a strong emollient action, acting as a chemical agent for removing necrotic cell debris and cleaning the application site. The effect of allantoin is also manifested at low concentrations (0.1 – 2%). Rostopasca has as its main component chelidonine – a benzophenanthridine derivative with an action similar to that of morphine. It has a sedative, analgesic, spasmolytic and cytostatic effect. Camphor and menthol have a slightly reddening and cooling effect on the area of application. The composition of the excipient (gel base) ensures efficient penetration of the product into the skin, allowing for the rapid manifestation of its action. TARGET SPECIES Dogs and cats Directions It is recommended as an adjuvant in: – joint diseases: sprains, dislocations, joint pain, joint rheumatism – fractures (accelerates bone callus formation) – reduction of exostoses – false lactation in bitches (the product is applied to the mammary chain until the condition subsides). METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION The product will be administered locally, by applying a thin layer and lightly massaging the area, to allow the gel to quickly penetrate the skin. The product is applied 2-3 times a day, for 4-5 days. Administration of the product can be extended up to 14 days in serious conditions, without the risk of secondary complications. CAUTION It is only applied to intact skin, in a thin layer. In the case of exostoses, it is recommended that the area be permanently covered with a thin layer of product.
