Menopause Test, Stork The Barza menopause test is a quick test that detects the presence of FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) in the urine. It is an in vitro diagnostic medical device that, through a qualitative determination, can tell you whether you are in perimenopause or menopause. The Barza menopause test determines the level of FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) in the urine at a level above 25 mIU/ml, with an accuracy of 99.99%. If the level is above normal values, then the test indicates the onset of premenopause or menopause. Properties: detects the onset of premenopause and menopause; measures the level of the FSH hormone in the urine; it is fast, the result can be read in 10 minutes; has an accuracy greater than 99%; it is single use. Before use: Prepare a clean, dry container for urine collection. Take a watch to count the time until the result is read. Check the expiry date written on the box. Do not use after this date. Do not use the test if the envelope is perforated or unsealed. Remove the test from the envelope just before use. Way of ussage: Insert the test into the urine, with the tip of the arrow down, up to the line marked MAX for 10 seconds. The test can be done at any time of the day, but keep in mind that the first urine in the morning contains the highest level of FSH. Wait 10 minutes for the result to be displayed. Results read after 20 minutes will not be taken into account. If only one colored line appears on the test in the control area (C), or the test line (T) is lighter in color than the control line (C) – THE RESULT IS NEGATIVE, the FSH level is below 25 mIU/mL. If 2 distinct lines appeared on the test and the test line (T) is as colored as, or darker than, the control line (C) – THE RESULT IS POSITIVE. This result indicates the presence of FSH in the urine at a level above 25 mIU/mL. In this case, a second test will be performed after 5-7 days (preferably at the same time), to confirm the result, namely a still high FSH level. If your FSH level remains high throughout your menstrual cycle, you are in perimenopause. If no visible line appears on the test, not even in the control area (C) – THE RESULT IS INVALID. This result may occur as a result of an error in the performance of the test or the deterioration of the reagent. Presentation: 1 sachet with strip test and desiccant
