COMPEED® hydrocolloid technology is an active gel that contains moisture-absorbing particles. The COMPEED® patch works like a second skin, helping to maintain the skins natural moisture to: immediately relieves the pain and pressure caused by blisters, protects against abrasions, ensures rapid healing of wounds. It stays put for a few days. This time may vary in individual cases. Patches are recommended for larger blisters, especially the fifth. Use: Wash and dry skin before use. Make sure the skin affected by the blister is not greasy with cream or oil. Peel off the top paper layer of the patch, trying to avoid touching the adhesive backing. Place the patch firmly on the blister, making sure the edges of the patch are pressed firmly against the skin. Leave the patch on the blister until it comes off on its own (note: it may stay in place for up to a few days). To remove the patch, do not pull it up, but gently stretch it along the skin. Important information: You should not intentionally puncture blisters because they heal better under a protective layer of epidermis. Never cut COMPEED® patches. It should not be used on infected wounds. Do not reuse the same patch (this could cause infection). If the blister wound worsens, stop treatment and seek medical advice with a doctor. Any traces of the patch can be easily removed with a solvent (eg white spirit), please follow the manufacturers instructions for use. If an allergic reaction occurs, contact us immediately with your primary care physician. People with diabetes should seek medical advice before use. This is a medical device.
