Bilavit rosewood essential oil comes from a plant known as rosewood ( Aniba rosaeodora ). The plant belongs to the Laureaceae botanical family and grows mainly in the tropical forests of South America. Rosewood essential oil – properties Rosewood is characterized by a refreshing, sweet and warm fragrance with woody notes and camphor, somewhat reminiscent of a rose. It has therapeutic and relaxing properties. Due to its low efficiency (5 kg of oil is obtained from 100 kg of raw material), rosewood extract is a very desirable product.
