ACID BALANCE - 30 CAPSULES is a preparation that contains two natural antacid compounds: calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate. These are alkaline salts that, when reacting with HCl, transform it into water and mineral salts. Calcium carbonate has a rapid and powerful neutralizing effect, while magnesium carbonate potentiates the action of calcium carbonate. Both salts protect the mucosa of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum against the harmful effects of gastric juices. They are frequently used during hyperacidity (increased hydrochloric acid content in gastric acid), which is accompanied by side effects and disorders such as: heartburn, chronic bloating, or stomach and intestinal ulcers. USE: Recommended daily amount of product to be administered depending on the animals body weight: Cats, small and medium dogs < 20 kg body weight - ½ capsule twice a day, half an hour before feeding Large dogs 20-40 kg body weight - 1 capsule twice a day, half an hour before feeding 40 kg body weight - 2 capsules twice a day, half an hour before feeding The product is presented in the form of capsules that can be opened.
